2018 Goals

A new year. A time for new goals and a fresh vision. Sometimes I feel like it is hopeless to set new goals. I’m just going to fail. But the truth is, I only fail when I fail to try. Once again I will try. I must be diligent. I am planning to post a copy of my goals in the kitchen where I will be face with them every day.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18

Word for the Year: Abide. I want to focus this year on abiding in Christ. Finding in Him my all in all.

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; nor more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it will be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” John 15:4-8

Character Quality: Diligent ~ visualizing each task as a special assignment from the Lord and using all of my energies to accomplish it.
